The Nazca Lines

    The Nazca Lines are located in a basin in Peru.  It is a mystery why they were written. The Nazca Lines are huge geometrical patterns which were drawn with lines.  These lines are made from sand and rocks.

Who were the Nazca?
     Nazca is a race that lived in Peru. Researcher in Cambridge University said that the Nazca died out 1,500 years ago.

When were they made?
     They were made in 525 years (about)
When were they discovered?
      In 1939, 22^nd June, Paul Kosok who was an archeologist discovered the Nazca Lines .

How were they drawn?　　There are many opinions about the Nazca Lines.　If we enlarge original pictures, we can make a huge picture on the ground such the Nazca Lines.

     Johnny Isla who is an archeologist in Peru thought that the Nazca Lines was drawn with just lines, and these lines were used as a path for people who prayed for rain.

2.    For a social work
     Nazca lines agree with the direction of the summer solstice and the winter solstice. The Nazca used the figures to predict the season.  The lines line up with the summer solstice. After the summer solstice the summer rains begin. Without summer rains the Nazca could not grow food.

Winter holiday

     My winter holiday was very hard! I worked at the cafe for 9 hours for 4 days. It was very very very very hard...! But I'm able to make a omlet well. I'm very happy, because I like a omlet. I want to become better.

Video project idea

Video project title is "dangerous cyclists."   

     There are a lot of people who ride a bicycle while watching a cell phone. If they ride a bicycle while watching it, they run into pedestrians.  Nowadays, pedestrians also walk while watching their cell phone, so they couldn't notice a danger that they run into a bicycle. In Okayama city, also has this problem. A lot of Seishin students ride a bicycle while watching their cell phone, and they seem to run into a car. It is very dangerous! We have to stop riding a bicycle while watching cell phone, because when we run into pedestrians, pedestrians may be injured.
     Also ignoring traffic signals is seriously problem. It is a cause of traffic accidents, so we have to obey traffic signals.

My luxuarious trip

     Going to Hokkaido is my luxuarious trip. I went to Hokkaido when I was 12 years old in summer. Hokkaido is large, so I couldn't travel there for three days. I visited Asahigawa zoo. There were many kinds of animals. A white bear was very cute, but I was surprised when a white bear jump into water. Seals looked like a mermaid. They swam comfortably. I enjoyed sightseeing:) But the best memory of this trip was feeling the world of -51 degrees in my body! It was very very very very cold!!!!;( I screamed for cold, and  the sense of my ear disappeared.... I don't want to feel that again, but it was good experience. I want to go to Hokkaido next summer.
